May 2010 Swaps

This month the stampin' club swap theme was "pink" (Tami's fave color) and "birthday", so this was my take on it.  I just got the Watercolor Trio stamp set, and I'm loving the versatility of it!  This was the card, by Nelia Harper, I used as inspiration.  (Yeah, I know the greeting shown above isn't birthday-themed......the cards I made for the swap were.  This was a leftover card I want to send to Operation Write Home.)


See that cool bow? I learned how to do that from my Stampin' Addicts pal Mickey Roberts' site here.  I just turned my bow a bit, and punched way too big holes. :-(

    Thanks for the comment and the CASE Cindy! I am honored. I love the pink (& green) combo as well as the sentiment. I just couldn't decide on the sentiment so I left it off. Beautiful card! I think I'll have to make some more :-) Pink, yellow, maybe even Soft Suede...Rich Razzleberry...

    Oh my, Cindy, this is gorgeous! To answer your question from my blog, I found those patriotic Sweethearts boxes at our local Ralphs. They still had them as of Saturday.
