This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, and Pecan Pie. I love that these are more of an Autumn feel, because I am already seeing signs of the seasonal change, even though we are still awfully hot. Here's the color line up this week:
One of the signs fall is approaching is the iron weed is getting ready to bloom. The leaves look similar to the leaves on the Spotlight on Nature stamps, and the blossoms are kind of a lighter shade of Blackberry Bliss, but don't resemble these blooms at all. But butterflies love them!
Basic Beige is such a great neutral color, and I'm so happy we've added it to the color line up! Pecan Pie leaves stamped on beige 4" x 5 1/4". Flower stem inked with Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers, then the color was pulled up with the brush on Clear Wink of Stella. The same was done for the butterfly, stamped in Blackberry Bliss.
