Happy Thursday, y'all! This week's challenge is a color challenge, and I simply adore these colors! Naturally, my first thought was to do something floral-y, but that's not really much of a challenge now, is it? 😁 So I decided to push a little out of my floral rut and make something cute.
The Bird's Eye View stamp set is simply too delightful! I love the oversized glasses that can be added to the birds, giving them a scholarly appearance. Our daughter is Chair of the math department at her high school and said she could use some cards to give randomly to encourage her teachers, so this will be the first of many, I hope!
The background was water brushed with Starry Sky on watercolor paper, then spattered with a Starry Sky Stampin' Write Marker and run through the SCEM with a Stitched With Whimsy die. Bird, branch and leaves were colored with Stampin' Blends then fussy cut and adhered. The greeting (from Circle Sayings) was die cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. If you look closely, you'll notice the lenses of the glasses are shiny, thanks to a thin coat of glue from the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
