CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - cards with trees. Can you believe it's only three weeks until Christmas? This year has really flown by.

This is a great clean and simple layout, and I'd use it for some of my Christmas cards if it wasn't for fussy cutting that Christmas tree. My fingers would be falling off by about the fifth card! I stamped the background trees in Soft Succulent directly on the card base and added some more Soft Succulent around them with a Blending Brush.

The Christmas tree was stamped in Evening Evergreen, then fussy cut and popped up on dimensionals. The star was heat embossed in gold, cut, and popped up as well. The ornaments are Holiday Rhinestones. The greeting and stamped off background snowflakes/stars are from Peaceful Deer, which is one of the sets carrying over when the Jul-Dec mini catalog ends on January 3rd. Yay!

That's my share for today. Libby is back (woohoo!) so click the Next button to jump over to her blog Libby Stamps, or the Back button to see what Lori at Loritamarie Crafts has made!
