The theme for this hop is any product in the Stampin' Up! catalog that we are thankful for. WELL.... there are so many fabulous products and tools that I am grateful to have at my disposal that it's hard to narrow down to one! Since some of my choices were already taken, and since I love to color, no matter what the medium, I thought the Aqua Painters would be a great choice. Mary at Center Stage Stamping was before me and chose Stampin' Blends (my other choice!), and Mickey at Paper Conversation is after me with DSP (another great choice!).
Aqua Painters are water-filled brushes (so you don't have to mess with a cup of water) and are fabulous not only for painting images using watercolor pencils or ink pads, but doing watercolor wash backgrounds, too. I did both on this card, using Blackberry Bliss ink for the blossom, and Blackberry Bliss and Balmy Blue ink for the background. It looked so much like some of the sunsets we have here!
Today I'm in Orlando for Day Two of the Stampin' Up! OnStage event.....just me and 9,000 of my closest stamping friends from around the world, LOL. It's crazy, insane, overwhelming FUN! And ooooooh boy, are you going to love what's coming with the 2019 Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration starting in January! That's all I'm allowed to share for right now. I know, such a tease!! But I get to pre-preorder some products, so keep an eye on this bog for some sneak peeks in the near future.
