My Inky Friends Challenge #6 - Color Combo!

Heart's Delight Cards, Varied Vases, MIFDC6, Stampin' Up!

Here's a fun color combination for this month's My Inky Friends Design Challenge, inspired by page 63 of the 2017 Stampin' Up! catalog. I love the bright, summery colors, of Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Bermuda Bay, don't you? It reminds me of all the flowers that have started blooming around here, so naturally I had to "pick" some flowers from Varied Vases for my card. (Get it? *Pick* Heehee!)

I stamped the vases from with VersaMark ink on the colored cardstock before punching them out. Unfortunately, it's so subtle you can barely see it! Next time, I'll heat emboss in clear so that will make them more visible.

I laid the vases where I wanted them over the frame (Swirly Frames) and decided which flowers to use. Then the vases were slid out of the way to stamp the flower stems. After adding the color fill (2-Step stamping), the vases were popped up on dimensionals.

  2. What a cute card. I love that you put the vases in a frame. Using the dimensionals behind it sure made them pop. Lovely card.
