Here's the latest design challenge from My Inky Friends, and the inspiration came from page 70 of the Stampin' Up! 2017 Annual Catalog. Now that Spring is here (well, for some people anyway, LOL), and Easter is right around the corner, this color challenge is perfect with its Spring-y colors!
I was inspired to use the cute floral birdhouse image in Flying Home because the bluebirds are back here in East Tennessee, yay! I thought this was so appropriate; not only for the bird, but the flowers as well.
It's a fun-fold card, and the image panel covers up the greeting panel inside. Both panels are matted on Blushing Bride cardstock, and I left the greeting off the inside, but added the adorable butterfly and bee. I'll jot a personal note before sending it.
If you've been inspired and would like to play along, just submit your card or other project HERE! You can also see what the other Design Team members dreamed up for this challenge by clicking on the link. (Note: some links may not work until the challenge goes live later today!)
These are the guidelines:
1. Follow the general design of a sketch, although it can be flipped. For a color challenge, Stampin' Up! colors are listed. You can use compatible colors and add neutrals as needed.
2. Create something new that has not been posted before.
3. Post your creation on your blog or online gallery, please provide a link back to our challenge. Provide a direct link to your project or post to the Linky.
4. Feel free to combine with up to three challenges, as long a you include a link to the Inky Friends post.
5. Have fun!
You have until April 6th to add your link, so there's plenty of time. We will vote for our favorite entry, and the winner can grab the OMG, Congratulations badge to proudly display on their blog!
