Hello, Baby!

So, did you all enjoy the Stampin' Addicts Birthday Blog Hop?  The creativity of the SA members never ceases to amaze me!  If you haven't already done so, please visit Stampin' Addicts, and become a member.  It's FREE and it's dedicated to supporting Stampin' Up! stampers and demonstrators.  Our motto is "Positively Creative! Positively Stampin' Up!"

I really wish you could see this baby card IRL.  The colors look so much better than my poor photography skills show.  This looks so washed out for some reason.

I realized the other day that I've only made ONE(!) baby card since I started this card-making adventure, and that was pre-Stampin' Up days.  (It was really cute, though - it had baby bracelet beads an' everything!)  I wanted to make a gender-neutral card, so I used Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery. The tres adorable monkey is from the Fox and Friends stamp set in the Occasions Mini.

What do you think?  Does this qualify as a CAS (clean and simple) card?

Stamps: Fox & Friends, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Perfect Polka-Dots Textured Impressions Die, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Certainly Celery Button (Fresh Favorites I)

  1. I have wanted to know what CAS meant for the longest time! So glad I stopped by your blog today to find out. Great card, by the way! Love the monkey; I've been resisting that stamp set, but that monkey is calling my name...

  2. Cindy, you achieved the CAS look and you made it look so easy! To me, apricot appeal is one of the hardest colors to use. This looks fabulous! The monkey is such a cute image. I don't have that stamp set--yet...;-) TFS
