Today (and EVERY day!) I am thankful for my loving, kind-hearted husband. He is so much nicer and more compassionate than I am. He makes me try to be a better person.

Today I am thankful that I know true friendship. I am so blessed by the people around me!
A friend of mine (one of several, actually) is a breast cancer survivor, and will be participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure held later this month. This will be her eighth walk! She found out that she can receive cards and letters of encouragement during the three day event, so I made a couple of cards to send to her. Here is the first one:
