Country Lane Sneak Peek

Heart's Delight Cards, Country Home, Country Lane Suite, Tin Tile TIEF, Sneak Peek, Stampin' Up!

Here is the galvanized "fun" I mentioned yesterday! The Tin Tile Dynamic TIEF pairs perfectly with the Galvanized Metallic Paper. Doesn't it look just like an old tin ceiling? I even sponged a bit of Memento ink on it to give it a tarnished look. I guess I could have done a bit more; it's really subtle.

I stamped the milk can on a scrap of the galvanized paper and fussy cut it out. The cotton stems and lotus pods were stamped on Whisper White with Memento ink, then colored with Stampin' Blends. Dark Soft Sea Foam was added as a background color to make the cotton bolls stand out.

After embossing the background with the Tin Tile folder, some black baker's twine was added and then it was adhered to the card base. The image was matted on Basic Black and popped up on dimensionals.

Oh, Happy Day - Sneak Peeks!

A big cardboard box full of HAPPY arrived a couple days ago, and after I made up samples of all the new Holiday catalog DSP to send to my downline, I finally got to play with the goodies. One of them is the new Country Home photopolymer stamp set, which is part of the Country Lane Suite. It is to-die-for!

The suite includes beautiful Country Lane DSP, Chicken Wire Elements, an awesome Tin Tile Dynamic TIEF and Galvanized Metallic Paper (I'll share that tomorrow), and other embellishments that I don't have.... YET!

Anyhoo, I couldn't wait to play with the Corrugated Dynamic TIEF (part of the Festive Farmhouse Suite), and do a little water coloring of those gorgeous images. I chose colors from the DSP, because I had originally planned to use some for the background, but then I got the idea to use chicken wire and a corrugated bits.

The middle sized frame from the Stitched Seasons Framelits fit the image perfectly! I did run it through the Big Shot twice, since it was thicker watercolor paper. This suite is going to get a lot of use here, I can tell. Be sure to check back tomorrow for some galvanized fun!

I have noticed signs that summer is starting to wind down and fall is just around the corner, so I thought this simple card was appropriate.

The leaves and greeting were stamped on Whisper White and die cut, and an extra leaf was stamped to fussy cut and pop up. The leaf die was used with Copper Foil Paper to add some pizazz. Stampin' Blends make coloring so easy! (And there are new colors coming in the Holiday Catalog, too, WOOHOO!)
