Bermuda Bay Birthday

Contraband alert!!! I am known to (upon occasion) use stamps from other stamp companies. *gasp!* My friend Janine calls it "rubbadultery." I can't help it - there are so MANY beautiful stamps out there that I succumb to their lure sometimes. I make no apologies for my moments of weakness. Seriously, how can anyone resist some of the gorgeous floral images offered by Altenew?

This one is from the Peony Bouquet set, and is a four-step photopolymer stamp. It was easy to line it up and stamp accurately using the Stamparatus (you really need one when they become available June 1st!). Bermuda Bay seems to have taken my fancy these past few days. The solid base image and first detail image were stamped in Pool Party, and the outline and final detail image were done in Bermuda Bay.

I did use some Stampin' Up! stamps here. The greeting is from Rose Wonder and the burlap fringe is from....wait for it....Burlap! Minimal fussy cutting involved. Using the Stampin' Trimmer, I cut around the image in a square, stopping just short of the leaves. Then all I had to fussy cut were the leaves. Saved my sanity, or whatever is left of it, LOL!

SAB Second Release

Today's the day! There are three new items (the bundle counts as one) added to the Sale-A-Bration selections, and they are fabulous!!! To see the flyer, click the image below.

I've already made several cards with the beautiful Blossoming Basket Bundle, so today I wanted to focus on the beautiful Springtime Foils Specialty DSP. There are four gorgeous designs and you get three sheets of each design for a total of twelve 12" x 12" sheets!

This card used the rose gold foiled floral design, which was colored with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut. The blossom was glued to the silver striped DSP that had been cut with the largest Stitched Shapes circle.

After stamping the dots with Powder Pink, the circle was then popped up on dimensionals and the bow (colored w/ Pink Pirouette Blends) was added. The greeting was stamped in Basic Black Archival ink.

Blossoming Basket Again

Here's the card I had my stamp club coloring the other day. I had the Stamparatus set up so they could stamp the basket of flowers, and then stamp the greeting and tag all at once, and all placed perfectly!

Mom is here for a two week visit, so I may or may not get much crafting time in. I'll try to have something to share, for sure!

Happy Birthday Post

I'm making this quick post late on my birthday, because I couldn't wait to share what the man in brown brought today!

Yes, this is one of the Sale-A-Bration Second Release items that will be available Feb. 16th!

I had to sit right down and play with the beautiful Blossoming Basket Bundle. Oh. My. Word. Not only is the basket of flowers a joy to color, but the Basket Weave embossing folder is a Dynamic folder, which means extra deep impressions! Anyway, I didn't want to wait until the weekend to show you, so there ya go.
