Strength & Hope Sneak Peek

Here is another sneak peek at a set that will be available in the Summer Mini (May 1 - Aug. 31). Stampin' Up! is going to donate $2 from every sale of the stamp sets (wood or clear mount) and the digital kit (12 exclusive Designer Series papers, 10 embellishments and the 4 piece stamp brush set) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Matchbox Sweet Treats

These little treat boxes are so quick and easy to put together! Using the Matchbox die, the inner box was cut from regular cardstock and the outer slider was cut from DSP for contrast.  Then all I had to do was add a belly band made from 5/8" satin ribbon and the larger labels.  To make them stand out, they were embossed with hearts cut from the Heart to Heart punch and the edges were inked.  A pearl finishes them off! Well, that and the M&Ms inside. ;-)

Happy Bird-day

Quick post today - gotta get my classes scheduled for the next quarter and finish my new newsletter.  Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting my motor going this morning. 

 This card was made for a friend, who shall remain nameless, because she doesn't know about it yet. :-D

The Aviary stamp set is so versatile, and the birds just crack me up, especially that long-legged one.  He fits perfectly into the greeting!  I used a Stampin' Write Marker to ink the words "happy" and "day" on the greeting from the SAB Hostess set Picture This, but I'll bet any happy birthday greeting would do....just don't ink the "birth" part of it.

Okay, I am seriously just about falling asleep here, and sleepy drool on the keyboard would be bad, very bad.  Off to make more coffee.
