CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Connie CASE

This week it's Connie's turn to be CASEd on our Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop. This is the card I chose to CASE. I loved the Timeless Plaid strip behind the main image, and found the perfect pattern to match my image in that pack. Buuttt, I checked and saw it was on the Last Chance list and it was listed as Low Inventory, so I went with the striped pattern in the Subtles DSP. And it's a good thing I did, too, because now the plaid is gone!

I started by adhering the DSP to the card base, and then the Everyday Arches die cut over that. The floral image was stamped and colored with Stampin' Blends, then fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped on a Petal Pink strip, and the ends cut in banners, then popped up. I was going to use the Old Olive dots, but it didn't look quite right, so I went with the white ones instead. I like the subtlety. 😊
