CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Orange Colored Sky

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is the song by Nat King Cole. I admit I had to look it up, because I didn't recognize it! Orange colored skies usually happen at sunrise or sunset, so Sunrise Sailing was perfect for this theme.

I started by brushing Daffodil Delight in the middle of Basic White, then gradually added Peach Pie around it. The Pretty Peacock strip at the bottom was first die cut using the wave die, but I used the leftover piece because I didn't want the piece with holes in it.

After it was adhered to the bottom of the "sunrise", I embossed it all with the hybrid embossing folder, then embossed the gold foil sailboat, and used the matching die to cut it out. Just needed a little scrap of Basic Black for the birds, and it was done!

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.
