This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a sketch and I was going to use embossed cardstock for the square behind the greeting. But after seeing the beautiful textures in the Woven Textures DSP, I went for that instead. There are 3 sheets each of four double-sided designs and for once, I love both sides of them all!
Here's the sketch we are using this week:
The bottom piece of DSP measures 4" x 4" and was adhered to the Pecan Pie card base. The top piece of DSP (3 5/8" x 3 5/8") was matted on on Early Espresso (3 3/4" x 3 3/4") and adhered on top.
The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso on the light colored DSP (1 1/2" x 4"), and banner ends were trimmed. It was glued to a 1/2" x 4 1/4" strip of Basic White and then popped up on mini dimensionals.
This card would work for anyone, but I think it has a more masculine feel to it. Just for giggles, when I was finished with the main card, I added some Country Flowers die cuts (Garden Green and Petunia Pop) to make it more feminine, and switched out the Neutrals sequins for Petunia Pop Resin Dots.
