CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Easter Wishes

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Easter. The rabbits in Storybook Friends are so adorable that I just had to use this dapper gentleman with the bow tie.

Pool Party seems to be showing up a lot on my craft table these days. The Pool Party gingham vellum cut with the Perennial Postage die made the perfect backdrop for the Pool Party ombre glimmer frame.

Mr. Bunny was colored with Pecan Pie and Medium Natural Tones Stampin' Blends, and his bow tie is Pool Party, of course. The Summer Splash Shimmer Gems are darn close to Pool Party, so I added them for a little more shimmery shine.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.

Thursday Challenge - CSF862

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the bright, cheerful colors of Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, and Summer Splash. These are such happy colors, and make a wonderful birthday balloon bouquet!

The Mini Corrugated embossed background measures 4" x 5 1/4". For the DSP banners, I used a Stylish Shapes die and cut each color twice so they could be pieced to make the length I needed.

After stamping, coloring, and die cutting the balloons, they were popped up on an Everyday Arches die cut, then the whole thing was popped up again on the card front. For the bow, I unraveled 8" of Summer Splash ribbon and used half on the bow, and then added some In Color Resin Dots for fun.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Wishing for Spring

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Wishing for Spring. I've been doing that a lot lately! In fact, I have most of our cool weather seeds sown, and some of them are exactly what's on today's card.😊

I started with a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Pool Party and used the fourth smallest Everyday Arches die to make the opening, then embossed it with the Exposed Brick folder. Next, Pool Party and Granny Apple Green ink were blended on white cardstock and the same die was used to cut the inside piece. A bit of tape held them together while they were adhered to the card base.

Then the fun part began! The lettuce, beets, and peas were stamped, colored with Blends and die cut. I laid the lettuce and beets at the bottom to figure out where to stamp the greeting, then glued them in a string and popped them up on dimensionals at the bottom of the arch. The popped up peas fit perfectly into the curve at the top of the arch! And no garden is complete without some bees - thank you Tiny Bee Trinkets!

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.
