CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Best Sweetheart

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is a Valentine for our favorite sweetheart. There is a lot of gold on this card, because my favorite sweetheart and I will be celebrating our Golden Anniversary this year! The man is an absolute saint for putting up with me for all those decades. 😇

I started with the Brushed Gold card base and added a Real Red die cut heart, stamped with VersaMark to mimic the design on the Real Red stamped heart on the other end. A Gold Foil heart separates the two, and a couple loops of 1/8" gold trim peek out of the smaller heart.

The greeting was stamped right on the card base. I tried several different label die cuts for the greeting, but nothing looked quite right. So it's a straightforward card, no flowers or bows. He's not into frou frou stuff anyway. 💕

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.

  1. Your ribbon loops look like a fourth heart! Intentional? I love it!

    1. Yes!!! I had to fiddle with it to make it look that way. ☺️
