CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Christmas Tag

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Christmas tags. I waffled between making actual tags, like you'd attach to a gift, or a card with a tag on the front. The card won!

I used the poinsettia tag die for the Basic White, and Real Red for the solid tag behind it. The solid tag has perforations all the way around it but the poinsettia one doesn't. I felt the edges should match so I ran the white thru with the solid die to satisfy my OCD, lol.

The green background and red plaid banner are in the Christmas Tags & More Mix & Match Specialty DSP, and I borrowed a greeting from Jolly Delivery because I wanted something small.

Making that tassel brought back memories of learning how to do it when I was in Girl Scouts many decades ago. 😊 That and a whole lotta knots!

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF900

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a color challenge and the last one for this year! The Thursday Challenge Design Team is taking Christmas off to spend time with our loved ones, so see you back here on January 1st!

Berry Burst and Shy Shamrock were brushed onto the background using the Snowy Delights masks and Blending Brushes, then the little snowflakes were stamped in Shy Shamrock (stamped off). The background was then matted on Berry Burst and adhered to the card base.

A Shy Shamrock snowflake was die cut and adhered, and matching Flat Pearls were added. Lastly, the greeting was stamped in Berry Burst, die cut with a Textured Notes die, and popped up. The inside was stamped with Berry Burst and Shy Shamrock as well.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Christmas Flowers

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Christmas Flowers, and you know they have to include poinsettias, right? The Christmas Greenery stamp set has a lovely swag that includes a poinsettia, so that's the flower du jour!

On a Lost Lagoon card base I adhered a Silent Snowfall Specialty DSP background for the floral image. I stamped and colored the image, cut it out, and adhered it (not popped up) before adding the greeting.

The greeting was cut from Lost Lagoon and a gold foil sheet. I adhered the gold first, and the Lost Lagoon slightly offset. The Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes added a little more shine.
