This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is the color combination below. If you know me at all, you know my first thought was something floral. I mean, don't those colors belong in a bouquet??? Then I thought about something Christmas, but to be honest, I'm just about Christmassed out with all the cards I've been making. So....on to the next holiday - New Year's Eve!
I used a Light the Sky die on Basic White and then added Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green glimmer paper behind it for the fireworks sparkle. I also added rhinestones, colored with dark Granny Apple Green and Berry Burst Stampin' Blends, because fireworks always have a lot of sparkle!
Granny Apple Green was used to stamp the center of the fireworks burst and greeting.
The Greetings of the Season bundle provided the sentiment and die cut. After die cutting with the rounded end near the "year", I reversed the die and ran it back through with the rounded end near the "happy", thus eliminating the tag hole.
