Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Bird's Eye View edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Terri's blog, welcome! There are only four of us today, so the hop should be quick.
Bird's Eye View is an 11 piece photopolymer set that we have featured before, and when I saw we were using it in July, I thought, "Oh well, my last July card won't be a Christmas in July card." HA! When I saw that stack of books I knew it had to be a stack of Christmas Classics!
The evergreen tree masks from Frosted Forest were used for the background to give a holiday feel, with some Shaded Spruce spatters added for fun.
I stamped the stack of books twice and fussy cut them, then colored the book covers and used a fine tip pen to write the titles on the binding. (Note to self: Don't try to write teeny tiny letters when you've had too much coffee.) 😬😄
The books were adhered to the card with dimensionals. The little bird was also fussy cut and attached with dimensionals. The Merry Christmas was borrowed from Greetings of the Season.
That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Holly created, or "Previous" to visit Terri again. Thanks for stopping by!
