Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is Flower Power, and you just know Stampin' Up! has that theme covered, with so many floral images from which to choose. As a lover of floral images, that's one of the things I love about Stampin' Up!!!
The 3 1/2" x 4 3/16" vellum was embossed with the Softly Sophisticated 3D folder and adhered to the Fresh Freesia card base. (The adhesive was placed so the popped up Fresh Freesia deckled rectangle would cover it.) The Gorgeous Grape greeting was cut with the Adoring Hearts banner die and adhered with multipurpose glue.
Those roses in the Adoring Hearts stamp set are so quick and easy to color, and they lend themselves to a smaller focal point, so I chose them for this card. After stamping the roses and flower blossoms with Memento ink, they were colored with Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, and Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends, then fussy cut. and popped up.
