Welcome to the Thursday Challenge! This week it's a color challenge - Moody Mauve, Petal Pink, and Pretty Peacock.
It may be the middle of January (spelled c-o-l-d!), but I'm already dreaming about gardening. 😁 I really like the flowers in the Enduring Beauty bundle, so thought they'd be perfect with these colors.
Did you know that the Enduring Beauty bundle is stamps, dies, AND masks? Yep! The masks are a pretty quick way to color the flowers if you don't have time to mess with Stampin' Blends. I used the masks for this card.
I started by stamping the image in Smoky Slate, then lined up the masks one at a time (they're numbered), and used Blending Brushes to add the colors. Easy peasy! Painter's tape (the blue stuff) works well to hold the masks in place, and it helps to put a tiny bit of adhesive under the cardstock to keep it from shifting when you blend on the ink colors.
