Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's BEARY CUTE edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Stacey's blog, welcome! There are six of us today so lots of ursine cuteness to share.
Beary Cute is a 15 piece photopolymer stamp set that has a coordinating punch. Not only does the punch work on the image in the stamp set, but it can punch bears from the Beary Christmas DSP, too! AND it can punch out bears from A Walk in the Forest "making a difference" DSP, where $3 for every pack sold will be donated to organizations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need.
I didn't use the punch on this card because I wanted to play with the other bear images in the set. Aren't these just the cutest?
A fussy cut tree (with Festive Pearls and a Star Trinket) and some gifts from the Beary Christmas DSP are all set on a snowy background make the scene complete.
The next card is my favorite. Papa, mama, and baby bear are trudging through the snow, perhaps on the hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree. (But since they're Polar bears, more likely they are looking for a meal, lol.)
A strip of white was adhered behind the vellum for the snowy ground and the vellum was then embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D folder and adhered to a Balmy Blue card base.
The tree was fussy cut from A Walk in the Forest DSP and the two big bears were stamped and punched with the Beary Cute Punch. Baby bear was fussy cut. I added some light Smoky Slate shadows on the bear family, along with fussy cut scarves and a single Adhesive-backed Snowflake on the greeting.
That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Terri created, or "Previous" to visit Stacey again. Thanks for stopping by!
