Stamp Review Crew - Something Fancy

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's SOMETHING FANCY edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Holly's blog, Rubber Redneck, welcome! There are four of us today, so the hop will be a quickie!

The Something Fancy stamp set is all greetings so it can be used with ANY other set or product. There are ten sentiments, and a coordinating twelve piece die set. I'm using some soon-to-retire products, as well as some Online Exclusive products for today's cards.

The Design A Daydream Host DSP has such pretty patterns, so that's what I used on both cards. The first card is mainly Mint Macaron (like that alliteration? heh) which is a retiring color.

The Fine Shimmer gold is also retiring, sadly. I used the radiating Stitches dies which are Online Exclusives. Lots of fun textures and shapes there!

The second card is Petal Pink which is not retiring, although the DSP is.

This card also uses Online Exclusives, in the form of the Basics 3D embossing folder and the Elegant Borders die.

The Petal Park bundle made quick work of the flowers. The greeting and flowers were stamped in Basic Gray which is the perfect color to complement Petal Pink. I used Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Stampin Blends on the blossoms.

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Jay at Mitosu Crafts created, or "Previous" to visit Holly again. Thanks for stopping by!
