Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop
theme is Go Green, and I suppose Connie and Mary were thinking of St. Patrick's Day (or maybe recycling?). Unfortunately, I waited too long to order the Lucky Clover bundle and the punch sold out very quickly. There's a lesson in there - don't wait if you want something! So instead of St. Paddy's Day, today I'm going green with green apples. 😊
The Apple Harvest stamp set carried over from the July-Dec mini and is available online. The Apple Blossoms Dies did not and are on clearance for $14.00! These die cut apples are popped up on a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle, which is adhered to a Granny Apple Green stamped Rays of Light (also die cut) circle.
I find that a vellum layer darkens the color under it, so I put Parakeet Party behind the embossed vellum to closely match the Granny Apple Green mat behind it. They both measure 3 3/4" x 5", and the G.A.G. mat measures 3 15/16" x 5 3/16".
