My neighbor had her birthday last week, but she doesn't like people to make a big deal about it. Her granddaughter, grandson-in-law, three great granddaughters, and friends gathered at the local pizza place to celebrate. We were invited, so I made this card for her.
This is the neighbor who came over with her husband (sadly, he passed last year) and introduced themselves to the new folks who had just moved in. We were so relieved to know that we had really nice neighbors, and they have treated us like family right from the start!
Anyway, she really likes her sweets, and we occasionally drop by her place with something sweet to share. She says that we're trying to sweeten her up, but it won't work, and we tell her we'll keep trying, LOL!
This is the Amazing Life bundle, which includes the awesome Rectangle Stitched Framelits. I used them to cut out the greeting, as well as the stitched frame. Had to fussy cut the flowers, though, but that went quickly. Clear Wink of Stella was added to the cake, and the word CAKE.
