Organizing Ink Refills
Here's a little tip my upline, Rosalie, shared with me....punch a 1/4" circle of cardstock, and adhere it to the top of the matching ink refill cap with a dot of Crystal Effects. They fit perfectly! Since it's a good idea to store your ink in a dark place to prevent the colors from changing/fading, I keep mine in a basket in the top drawer of my craft desk. I can tell at a glance which color I need to grab when it's time to re-ink a Stampin' Pad! Note: always double-check to make sure you have the right color before re-inking - I know some stamping friends (who shall remain nameless) who accidentally used the wrong color!

TeeHee! Good tip! I have accidentally re-inked with brown into a black ink pad ...
ReplyDeleteLove you have them organized! Great tips, too! (Pun intended...) And yes, I know double check before I re-ink, having reinked my Night of Navy with Not Quite Navy. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteGreat tip! I always pull out my plastic box of re-inkers and go thru them all one at a time to find the color. This is much more efficient!
ReplyDeleteThanks much for the great tip! :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea. It always takes me forever to find my ink refills because they are all in a drawer. I'm pinning this so I remember to do it soon.
ReplyDeleteCool tip! Another item for the to-do list! Seriously need to get a to-done list going!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I need to do this as mine don't fit where I used to have them and it's a pain to find them now!
