Any Hero Cards
What got me to change my mind was the fundraiser for Operation Write Home going on at K 'n K Designs. ALL of the proceeds from the sales of these specially-designed stamps (minus PayPal fees) will be donated to OWH to help with shipping costs, estimated to be about $13,000 over the next few months!
Well, Operation Write Home is a cause near and very dear to my heart, and the digis were so darn cute, I just couldn't resist. This is one of the images in the bundle. (I added "OWH" to the label using Publisher.) :-) Since my Copics have been seriously neglected for a few months, I used them to color the image, then added Crystal Effects to the spilled water and the dog's nose for some shine. Tucking six of these into the box for OWH!
Notice the little "OWH" on the label? I added that using Publisher. :-D

This is darling!!! I love how you added the crystal effects to his nose and the water! And the color combo is so pretty. How very cute. :) Oh, and that was such a great idea to add OWH to the label!!ReplyDelete
I've been using digital stamps for quite awhile now, and I do miss the good old ink and rubber. :) There is something about getting inky that I miss!!
Thanks for sharing!!!
This is really cute, Cindy! I love the little glitter heart and how you labeled the box.ReplyDelete
Digital stamps are a bit of a departure for me, too! It's fun to experiment with them, but I still love my rubber and ink!
Stinkin adorable!! I love the OWH and glitter heart. I don't really use digi images either, but looked at them, and will try to get some. Thanks for telling about the fundraiser. I just placed a huge SU order and have 2.00 and change left in my stamp account. lol The two you showed are my favs!ReplyDelete
I love your cards, I do stamping and scrapbooking and I agree there is something about feeling the stamp and placing that ink on paper. This is also a great way to save moneyReplyDelete
Oh this is so adorable, Cindy! Such a pretty color combo, and I really like the extra little details you added, like the "OWH" on the label -- so clever! Thanks for giving digis a try and helping us along with the fundraiser -- we appreciate it very much!ReplyDelete
