Gratitude
Today's card is going to a special lady who has been sharing her work load with me for the past week and a half, and for that I am truly grateful! The extra $$ is most appreciated. The greeting on this card is a wonderful reminder that we should count our blessings every day, not just on the holiday set aside for it. :-)
I brayered Daffodil Delight, More Mustard and Cherry Cobbler onto Very Vanilla CS, then stamped the images using More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler. The postage cancellation was stamped with VersaMark on River Rock CS, heat embossed with gold EP, cut out and popped up on a dimensional. The background was stamped (by stamping off once) with River Rock ink on River Rock CS, then the extra "splats" were added using Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint.

Lovely card! Great layout & color combo that seems unique & so serene! Great fall card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Just love the colors and the subtle shimmers.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this. I vowed not to buy French Foilage because I already own an older, similar stamp set, but how can I resist now? ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your card with the graduated tones of yellows and orange and red. Brayering is one of my favorite techniques. The BG is perfect and and the finishing touch of a raised embellishment si So pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love it! Thank you for sharing! I am one of your followers from Stampin' Connection. (I'm the one that started the Follow Me thread) I have a small favor to ask, please. I had to switch over my website (it used to be BellevueStampingClub) and lost all of my followers from SC. Would you be so kind as to go to my new site listed below and RE-follow me, please? You may have to copy and paste the link. Thanks so much! I really appreciate it!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I would like to make it with my club ladies tonight, but I don't want to pull out the brayer for the chaotic crowd, LOL!
