Today was my turn to be hostess of the monthly Stampin' Up stamp club, and I wanted to make a little gift for the other members. Since the evenings are getting chilly, I thought a nice cup of herbal spice tea would be appreciated. I made 18 of these last night (yeah, I know - waited until the last minute) and they were really a hit!They were very easy to do, once I figured out the template. To make the 4" x 4" cards with a pocket inside, I started with a 8½" x 6" rectangle. I was able to get two out of a 12" x 12" piece of cardstock.
I've included a couple of photos to give you an idea of how it was done. The flaps on the pocket are ½" and I cut the tops at an angle so they wouldn't get in the way when I folded the pocket up. A Fiskars border punch was used to dress up the pocket a bit.
Easy peasy! You could make it a little larger and include a packet of hot chocolate (and wouldn't the WoJ "Willow with Hot Chocolate" stamp be adorable on the front?!). Hmmmm, I think I know what my next card will be! :-D
