CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Blue Ain't Your Color

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is the song by Keith Urban "Blue Ain't Your Color" and I know what he means in the song, but blue is definitely my color. I had a blast playing with some holiday catalog pre-order goodies while making this, so here are some sneak peeks of coming attractions!

The image is from Winter Scenes, which feature four small winter images. I stamped it in Night of Navy and colored the sky and stream with Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends. Quick and easy! I used a greeting from Bauble Blooms, because it was small enough for the label. And speaking of labels....the upcoming Traditional Labels Dies are awesome! 😍

One more quick sneak peek is the snowy background called Silent Snowfall Specialty DSP. It comes already embossed; all I had to do was blend a little Misty Moonlight on it to make it a pale blue!

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF881

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a fun sketch which was just made for showing off our Two-Tone Cardstock!

I wanted to keep the card fairly simple with just a single flower, so I pulled out the Pretty Florals bundle. I'm starting to see just the beginning whispers of autumn here, and that was the color scheme for my card.

The flower was stamped in Daffodil Delight and Pecan Pie, with a Mossy Meadow die cut stem. It was adhered to a Textured Notes rectangle, matted on Pecan Pie and popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The greeting (from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack) was colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend to match the flower.

The folded background is Crumb Cake Two-Tone Cardstock, adhered to Basic White embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D folder. The card base is Pecan Pie.

CSF Saturday Hop - Color My World

This month the Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop themes are inspired by song titles. Today it's Color My World by Chicago, so we're featuring our favorite SU color. I really like almost all of them, but my favorite has to be Misty Moonlight.

A dear friend's mother recently passed, so this is the card I made for her using the Charming Day floral image, and the Peace on Earth bundle. The Peace on Earth bundle, Peaceful Garden DSP, and Misty Moonlight ribbon will be available in the Sep-Dec holiday catalog.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.
