NEW CATALOG & BROCHURE!

I have been so distracted with our daughter earning her PhD this week, that I completely spaced out that the new Sep-Dec holiday mini catalog is here! I will be sending out the new catties this week, but meanwhile you can click the link on the left sidebar to see the PDF.

AAAANNNDDDD, as if that wasn't enough, there is a new scrapbooking brochure just released, too! This one is only available to view online, so I can't send paper copies, but there are some cool things in it, like two-tone scrapbook pages (one side is a little lighter than the other).

Here's a short video about the new two-tone cardstock:

So, in conclusion, my sincere apology for dropping the ball on the new catalogs...they should be hitting your mailboxes next week. And may I just brag for a moment that our daughter completed her PhD eight months ahead of schedule? Proud mom moment!

CSF Thursday Challenge CSF834

Yikes! Totally distracted this week (daughter earned her PhD!) and almost forgot to post!!! This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is the color challenge, and it WAS a challenge for me.

I decided to do the spotlight technique using the Spotlight on Nature bundle. Appropriate, no? And in my distractedness, I deleted all the edited photos I had for this card, so I hurried to get the pic taken and posted. I'll do better next week, I promise!

Stamp Review Crew - Simply Said

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Simply Said edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Jay's blog, welcome! There are four of us today.

Simply Said is a 10 piece photopolymer sentiment set that covers many occasions. I'm feeling Fall-ish still, so I made a fall themed birthday card.

Starting with a Basic Beige card base and some neutral DSP from Country Lace, I stamped the leaves from Spotlight on Nature in Early Espresso, and colored with Light Copper Clay and Bronze Stampin' Blends. The greeting wast stamped in Early Espresso and fussy cut before being popped up on the copper Spotlight on Nature die cut.

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Ellen created, or "Previous" to visit Jay again. Thanks for stopping by!
