CSF Saturday Hop "The Hunt for Red October"

This month's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop themes are movie titles with colors in them, and today the theme is RED. I'm still feeling Christmas in July, so here's another card to add to my stash!

On a Cherry Cobbler card base I adhered a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White (after stamping & die cutting the tag from the center!). On top of that was added a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of DSP from Iconic Celebrations.

I colored a piece of Basic Beige ribbon with the Cherry Cobbler Blend and stapled it to the top of the tag, then popped the tag up on dimensionals. From scraps of Basic White I stamped the greenery from Iconic Imagery and die cut them before adding them with more dimensionals. Some Iridescent Pearl "berries" completed the card.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

Thursday Challenge - CSF825

For the month of July, the Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge will be to CASE the Catalog! Today our inspiration card is found on page 42, and we can use the colors, the stamp set, or the sketch for inspiration. I chose the sketch. Now that it's July, I have Christmas in July on my mind! Here is our inspiration:

Yesterday was the beginning of some new Online Exclusives (and BONUS DAYS!) and some great holiday sets were just added. I used the new Iconic Imagery bundle for this card. Not only does it have pine trees and snowflakes, but there are birthday, autumn, and love images, too!

The background Season of Green & Gold designer paper was cut to 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" and a different pattern of the DSP was cut with the label die included in the bundle. "Celebrate" was fussy cut, and check out that gold-embossed greeting - the new WOW! embossing powders are truly wow!

Stamp Review Crew - Happy Little Things

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Happy Little Things edition. The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Jay's blog, welcome! There are only three of us today, so this will be a quickie!

Happy Little Things is a fun "build your own greeting" stamp set with 18 photopolymer pieces, including four large outline stamps with four filler stamps. There are also two adorable little banner dies that go with it. You won't find them in the catalog - they're part of the Online Exclusives!

I used the outline stamp, and instead of using the filler, I colored the negative space with a Cajun Craze Stampin' Blend.

That gorgeous background is from the Thoughtful Journey 6" x 6" DSP pack. There are SO many pretty images in that pack that it was hard to choose one! I had another card done with a Petunia Pop/Mossy Meadow scene and dropped an open ink pad one it as it was almost finished. 😩

If you look closely, you'll se a sneak peek of a new die that's coming July 3rd. It's part of the Iconic Imagery bundle which is being released with a whole BUNCH of other Online Exclusives on Wednesday. AND Bonus Days start on Wednesday, too, so you can get new goodies and earn coupons to redeem in August!

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Ellen created, or "Previous" to visit Jay again. Thanks for stopping by!
