PLEASE READ - Changes Are Coming!

Stampin' Up! is updating our online store, and there will be many GREAT new features, BUT.....

Be sure you know what your account email and password is; like write it down now. Your old links will take you to the new store, but your browser will see it as a new site and not have saved your prior sign in info and you will need to enter it again.

Now on to the good stuff!

The store is designed to work seamlessly on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
It utilizes new, larger imagery to better showcase our products and allow up-close details to be seen. (These old eyes will be thankful.)
You can create and share wish lists.
Inventory status information will show you what items will be retiring soon, have low inventory, or are backordered.
You can leave feedback on any page letting SU know what you like, or what could be improved. This new feature allows you to leave feedback anywhere and on anything in the new online store—and it delivers that information directly to the people who need to see it at Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Review Crew - Beautiful World

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Beautiful World edition! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. Beautiful World is a 13 piece cling stamp set and has coordinating 10 piece World Map Dies which, of course, you can bundle and save 10%. They are part of the World of Good Suite found on page 24 of the annual catalog. This suite is absolutely perfect for scrapbook pages, masculine cards, or wishing someone well as they go off on new endeavors!

My first card is a simple yet elegant Thank You. I used an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker to ink up just the thank you part of the greeting. The quill was inked (Crumb Cake) with a sponge dauber and then edged with the Early Espresso marker.

Now I have to admit, those ink spots are not part of this set. I had to borrow them from Forever Fern, because I just knew that if I was trying to use a quill and ink well, I'd be leaving spatters of ink behind!

I love the texture the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder makes, don't you? It takes a plain background from boring to beautiful.

My next card could be for a young adult striking out on their own, a newlywed couple, or even someone starting a new job.

The World of Good Specialty DSP and Brass Foil Sheets sure make the card interesting! I liked how the brass curlicue above 'Adventure" mimics the shape of the A. And the texture from the latitude/longitude coordinates behind the globe also adds more interest. Lots of details on this card!

And, because I had an "opportunity for embellishment" (aka oops) just as I was finishing the card, I added silver Metallic Pearls, which blended perfectly with the Seaside Spray cardstock.

Saturday Play (with Patterns)

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is "Playing with Patterns" where the pattern is the focal point. Naturally, this called for the stamp set called Playing With Patterns, right? The 11 piece photopolymer stamp set can be bundled with the 58 piece Playful Alphabet Dies for a 10% savings, too!

I went completely out of my comfort zone on this card. Not only did I not have an image to play with, but I used a color that I don't usually reach for. But you know what? It worked, and I'm actually pleased with the result!

The yellow end of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper was a very close match to the Bumblebee ink in the pattern, so I cut the letters from it. Adding the black shadow letters really made it stand out. I did have to fussy cut the confetti greeting, but that was easy! A few 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots completed the card.
