CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Lori CASE

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is CASing Lori DeGroot. I didn't have to look very far to find a card I love. I fact, I love it so much, I only changed the color, and kept everything else the same! Our son's girlfriend has a birthday next month, and her favorite color is yellow. Here's Lori's inspiration card:

I used Daffodil Delight Two-Tone cardstock for the background layers - the darker side for the torn layer and lighter side for the die cut layer. That die reminds me of eyelet lace, so pretty!

The flowers were colored with Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, and the leaf was stamped in Garden Green. I used the Banner Sayings Bundle for the greeting since there wasn't a birthday greeting in the Lovely Arrangements Bundle.

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF907

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a sketch:

Since I needed several Valentine's Day cards this challenge gave me the layout (most of the work done), I just needed to figure which products to use!

On a Real Red card base I adhered a piece of Basic White. The DSP was added, and then the long banner over it. The die cut heart was adhered so it overlapped the DSP and a Gold Foil arrow was added for some shine.

On the greeting panel I stamped the 'Happy' and 'Day' in Flirty Flamingo, then on a strip 'Valentine's' was stamped in Real Red and popped up on dimensionals. It was matted on Real Red and popped up on the card.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Debbie CASE

This is one of my fave times at Create With Stamping Friends, when our theme is CASE-ing the design team! Each week, for six weeks, we will focus on one of the team, and choose an inspiration card to CASE. This week it's Debbie Henderson, and I chose this simply elegant card from Debbie. I love the layout, but since we are well past Christmas and I'm sick of cold weather, I went with a Spring theme. 😁

The 3-3/4" x 5" embossed background was popped up on dimensionals. The Stylish Shapes die cut had Lemon Lolly blended on before also being popped up. To create the wreath, I cut five of the large leafy stems from Granny Apple Green, and a bunch of the double leaves from Garden Green to use as filler.

I love that dragonfly! After die cutting and arranging the flowers, most of which had lost their centers, I ended up cutting more from Daffodil Delight just to use the centers on this card. Now I have lots of extra flowers for a future project. (Useful bits, Sherry!) The greeting from Easter Basket was cut with the Three Banner Punch.

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF906

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Berry Burst, Fresh Freesia, and Lost Lagoon:

I used the Scalloped Wishes Bundle which will be available in the March Online Exclusives release. On a Basic Beige card base was adhered a Basic Beige panel embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D folder.

After die cutting the scalloped oval, the greeting and dragonflies were stamped in the center and all were adhered to the card front using multipurpose glue. The flowers and leaves were cut and arranged, then glued in place with Iridescent Pearls added to the centers. A Basic Beige Classic Ribbon bow finished the card.

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - I "Heart" You

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop inspiration is another love theme - I "Heart" You. We could all use a little more love, right?

On a Strawberry Slush base I adhered Bubble Bath Shimmer Specialty Paper, topped with the embossed vellum. The Strawberry Slush heart tag was cut with the die in the Endless Love bundle, and then stamped using the heart cluster. A ribbon and bow were added before the whole thing was popped up on dimensionals. The I and U were cut using the Mini Die and adhered with glue and tiny pieces of dimensionals. Some Strawberry Slush Gems added the sparkle I wanted!
