This quick and cute card was another of the cards we made in the monthly stamp club. We made FOUR cards this month!
This one really was a "piece of cake" to make (heh heh), but the addition of a few embellishments and the gold foil dresses it up so nicely. Plus, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist are a match made in heaven! The colors complement each other beautifully and make everything pop.
As for the "quick" part...seriously; I think start to finish was less than ten minutes. You could quickly make a stash of these cards to have on hand, and never be caught at the last minute without a card to send!
Here's the "How To"
Cake image: Whisper White 2-1/2" x 2-1/2"
Mat: Gold Foil Sheet 2-5/8" x 2-5/8"
Background: Whisper White 4" x 5-1/4"
Card base: Whisper White Thick 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored & folded at 4-1/4"
- Stamp cake in Basic Black Archival ink on image panel. Color with blender pen, then adhere to gold foil mat. Attach to background with dimensionals, leaving an even border at top and sides.
- Stamp greeting on background below cake image and color with blender pen, then adhere to card base.
- Tie a bow and attach it with a glue dot. Add the gold enamel dots.
