CSF Saturday Hop - Neutral Palette

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is a neutral palette; whites, grays, ivorys, browns or black. I chose browns for this card - Basic Beige and Early Espresso.

The floral image was stamped in Early Espresso on Basic Beige cardstock and "colored" with Clear Wink of Stella. The W.O.S. picked up the ink from the stamped image like using a Water Painter, adding subtle shimmer, as well.

I love the circle dies in the Spotlight on Nature bundle! I think they're going to be used a lot in the near future.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

Thursday Challenge - CSF816

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is the colors Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, and Pecan Pie. I used the new Country Birdhouse bundle to create this adorable card.

The house itself is Lemon Lolly stamped with Lemon Lolly spatters to add a little visual interest. I was tempted to emboss it, but I wanted to used the Fern embossed background and it would have been too much. (Though I did use the Timber 3D folder for the Pecan Pie roof.)

You can't see it in the pictures, but a little bit of Lost Lagoon was lightly rubbed on the ferns with a sponge dauber to make them stand out a little more. The bird was colored with all three challenge colors. I think he turned out kind of cute. And I know he's a he because the female wouldn't be as flashy, lol.
