Small, But Sincere!

I like to tuck a little something into my customers' bags when they place an order, as a token of my appreciation for their business. It might be a ribbon sample, or some buttons, or a card. Some cards are full size, and some are little 3 x 3 "love note" size. This is one of the little cards, and I'm so excited because I made that little matching envelope in the background!

Yep, I received the Diagonal Insert for my Simply Scored scoring tool today, and I whipped out a bunch of little envelopes in no time! It is SO EASY to make envelopes in a variety of sizes. The score lines are precise, so the envelope folds together perfectly. (Unlike my previous attempts at envelope construction.)

Anyhoo, I can see me and my Diagonal Insert are in for a long, happy, and fruitful relationship.

Sweet Swaps

This cute little 3 x 3 card was made for a demo swap over on Stampin' Addicts. It would be perfect to tuck in a thank you gift, or a hiding place for someone to discover later (think Easter egg!). The image was stamped using the marker-to-stamp technique with Stampin' Write Markers (Old Olive, Rose Red, and Soft Suede) and stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock.  It was then colored in using a Blender Pen and Classic ink pads (Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede).

Door Prize

This was the little door prize I gave away at last Saturday's workshop.  It's made with the Scallop Envelope die For the Big Shot.  The box is the perfect size for 3"x3" cards and matching envelopes. The girls kept asking "You made that?"  It was kind of cool. ;-)

I wish I could remember where I saw the idea for the box, because I'd really like to credit the person I CASEd it from! I punched a ½ inch circle from Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper for the center of the Build-A-Brad.  The flower behind it was punched from paper in the same pack and inked on the edges with Melon Mambo.

For the first card, I cut out a flower from the TEA PARTY Designer Series Paper, added the pearl brad, and adhered it with Tombow Multi adhesive to the card front.  This card was didn't have a sentiment, so it could be used for any occasion.

A cute little quickie using DP from the same pack, plus a scrap of Certainly Celery DSP.  The sentiment was stamped in Melon Mambo, then covered with vellum cut with the scallop punch and fastened with adhesive pearls.  (I really wish SU had these, in a variety of colors! That and more border punches and embossing folders.)

I love how quickly these little cards went together.  Just a little piece of DSP, some ribbon, a Styled Silver slide from the Hodgepodge Hardware set, stamp and punch the sentiment, et voila, done!

Okay, for this one I used some Razzleberry Lemonade DSP, because I didn't want ALL the cards to be too bland, lol!

Big Thanks in a Small Package

I am so grateful to the people who are supporting me in getting my fledgling SU business off the ground!  These little 3x3" Thank You cards are getting tucked into the bags of customer orders.  I'm thinking about adding a certificate for 10% off a future class if the order is particularly large, like over $50 in merchandise.
