Stamp Review Crew - BONUS Apple Harvest

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's BONUS Apple Harvest edition! This is the fifth Monday of the month, so we have an extra hop to share. The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Terri's blog, welcome! There are seven of us today, so lots of ideas for this "yummy" set!

Apple Harvest is an eight piece cling (red rubber) set. There is a coordinating 25 piece die set called Apple Blossoms Dies, but it's not in the catalog, only in the online store and it's on Clearance!

I have two cards today, one friendship and one get well.

For the friendship card, Granny Apple Green was blended on the white background with a Blending Brush and the diamond pattern stamped over. The scallop edge die trimmed off the bottom and it was adhered to Granny Apple Green cardstock.

The apple branch was stamped in black and colored with Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green, Sweet Sorbet, Real Red, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. It was then die cut and popped up on dimensionals with a linen thread bow attached.

The greeting was also popped up (isn't that label just the cutest?), and some Adhesive-backed Glitter Sequins added for some sparkle.

The get well card started with a Granny Apple Green base over which was adhered a Basic White piece embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D folder.

On top of that is a 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Parakeet Party stamped with the diamond pattern using VersaMark, spattered with white paint and the edges roughed up for a grunge look.

This apple branch was colored with Pecan Pie, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, and Flirty Flamingo and also popped up. I shortened that cute label to fit the greeting!

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Mike over at Stampin-Style created, or "Previous" to visit Terri at My Stamp Vault again. Thanks for stopping by!

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Glitzy Halloween

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is GLITZY HALLOWEEN and I think the Petal Pink glimmer in the Three Color Glimmer Specialty Paper (available Nov. 6) looks a lot like a lighter shade of Pumpkin Pie, and it provided the perfect glitzy bit for this card!

The glimmer paper, Pumpkin Pie, and Basic Black cardstock layers were die cut with the Countryside Corners Dies and adhered to the Basics 3D embossed background (glimmer popped up).

The jack-o-lantern was stamped in Pumpkin Pie and the leaf in Old Olive, with the stem punched from a scrap of Early Espresso.

I fussy cut the bare tree and crow and glued them directly on the glimmer paper. The pumpkin was popped up on mini dimensionals.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

CCMC790 - Color Challenge

I loooove this challenge color combination! Blue and orange is such a classic combo that even the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos team colors are blue and orange. 🏈

But today it's all about the daisies, not football. The daisy outlines and centers were stamped with Cajun Craze, and the fillers with Pumpkin Pie, then die cut and set aside.

After blending some Starry Sky ink on a white background, a few of the smaller blossoms were stamped in Starry Sky. The background was cut with a deckled rectangle. After adhering it on a Starry Sky mat, it was added to the card base.

The daisies were adhered with dimensionals and some Iridescent Pearls added the "bright" for the birthday card.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Spooky Forest

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is SPOOKY FOREST! I was stumped for a bit because I didn't really have any scary tree stamps....or so I thought.

Turns out, the trees in the Horse & Sleigh bundle, and the leaf vein die in Autumn Leaves worked perfectly! All I had to do was create a scene by masking off a moon and blending Starry Sky over it, then add the stamped and die cut trees.

And what could be spookier than eyes watching you from the trees? Creeps me out just thinking about it! I used a Dark Basic Black Stampin' Blend to add pupils to the small white Classic Matte Dots and stuck them up in the trees.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.
