The Stamp Review Crew - Bonus #2 Sale-a-Bration

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Bonus Sale-a-Bration edition! Sale-a-Bration ends TODAY, so grab what you wanted before it's gone forever!

The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Kristie's blog, My Paper Life, welcome! There are TEN of us today, so grab a beverage, relax, and enjoy the tour.

Today my cards feature the Driving By stamp set (and a very appropriate greeting from Special Moments), and the Friendly Hello stamp set, with some Sunshine & Rainbows DSP on both.

The first card has that adorable VW bus that has been "painted" with happy sunshine and has a smiley face added with a marker. It's so 70s, LOL!

The rainbow background paper is from the same pack and is just so cheerful - I can't help but smile when I look at this card.

The second card has watercolored blossoms from Friendly Hello popped up over more of that fun Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.

I think the polka dot pattern with the stripes is a great combination, and the addition of some Iridescent Rhinestones over a few of the dots was icing on the cake!

That's my share for today, so click NEXT to see what Jay at Mitosu Crafts has made!

Moon Baby CAS

I rarely have occasions to make baby cards anymore, so I was going to pass on this stamp set. But, as usual, I saw so many cute cards made with it that I just had to have it. That happens a LOT here. Does that happen to you, too? Tell me I'm not alone in this!

It was pretty simple to stamp the image twice on the Shimmery White strip, color with Blender Pens and add the mat. I was going to use just the stitched circle behind, but the scalloped circle layered behind it looked so sweet I had to add it, too. The Metallic Enamel Shapes stars fit perfectly into the stamped star outlines!

Measurements
 Image strip: Shimmery White 1-5/8" x 5-1/4"
 Mat: Soft Suede 1-3/4" x 5-1/4"
DSP: 2015-2017 In Colors DSP (Mint Macaron) 4" x 5-1/4"
 Mat: Soft Suede 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Card base" Crumb Cake 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4"

I'm so excited, because Stampin' Up! just showed us the "New Release" SAB products that will be available starting Feb. 21st! One of the new items you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order, is a 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Stack. It has Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron, and Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper in it!!!  I might have squealed when I saw it, LOL. Here's a sneak peek:

Groundhog Predicts Early Spring!

Woo-HOOO! I'm sure that's even more wonderful news for those of you who have to endure sub-freezing weather. Before you know it, you'll be basking in the sunshine, too....hang in there!
From Millan.Net
Somehow, pink and green always come to mind when I think Spring, so here's a cute (and quick!) little card with that color combination.

I needed some Thank You cards this week, and this was the result. Sooo cute, and sooo easy! The marker-to-stamp technique worked really well on this stamp from the Patterned Occasions set, which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! A little ink was sponged around the edges of the die-cut before it was removed from the Framelit die, to give it a narrow border.

So, Friends, happy Groundhog Day to you! Now go stamp something to celebrate the Spring's eminent arrival!

Sunglasses Warning & Blog Candy Winner

Since Nikki, from Canada, was the only person who left a comment on the last post, she is the winner of the blog candy. (See, you should have scrolled all the way down!) Nikki, I sent you an email for your mailing address.

Now, about the sunglasses warning.....this card is so cheerful and bright, it might damage your retinas without protection! I made this for a special friend, but I'm not naming any names, because it goes in the mail tomorrow.

I just couldn't resist the Tangerine Tango/Rich Razzleberry combination again. Seriously, whoda thunk that I would be doing such crazy combinations? It's the Sycamore Street DSP, I tell ya. It's doing something to my brain, and now I'm even looking at Summer Starfruit with a new eye. *gasp!*

So, for all you frozen folks that can't wait for Spring to arrive, here's something bright and cheery to help you hang on.  Groundhog Day is just a few days away. Surely Punxsutawney Phil won't see his shadow, and we'll have an early Spring. It looks like there's a 30% chance of snow that day, so keep your fingers crossed!
