Thinking Spring
My daughter and son-in-law (Hibillies in Training) are experiencing their first winter in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and, as luck would have it, it's been one for the record books. They've been snowed in for well over a week, and it looks like they'll be snowbound for at least a week more. Quite a change for my SoCal born baby girl!
With that in mind, and with my upcoming Easter/Spring card class this Saturday, I've had cheerful Spring-themed cards on the brain. This is one that I think fits the bill. The branch of blossoms in Indescribeable Gift makes me think of fruit trees all abloom, with the promise of delectable harvests later.
The blossoms were colored with Blendabilities markers. Gosh, I love coloring! And apparently, coloring is becoming all the rage now in Europe. They've discovered what I've known for years .... that coloring is a great stress reliever!
STAMPS: Indescribeable Gift, Lotus Blossom (greeting - free SAB item)
CARDSTOCK: Whisper White, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Irresistibly Yours DSP (free SAB item), Brights DSP Stack
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black, Melon Mambo Blendabilities, Crumb Cake Blendabilities, Wild Wasabi Blendabilities

To A Classic
Yesterday afternoon was our Five Card Stud class. No, we didn't play cards, but we did make cards! The theme was masculine cards, hence the "stud", and we made five of them, so........
I showed a sneak peek of one of the others a month ago. My inspiration for this card came from one I saw on Pinterest, but I did change it up a bit. I thought the Argyle embossing really suited the classic car.
That Guy Greetings stamp set is awesome! Having a classic car is perfect for my needs, since I'm at the age where most of the men I know areold timers "classics".

The Greatest Is Love
The office manager at my dentist's office has me make cards for her. She LOVES hand-crafted cards, but has no interest in making them herself (no matter how much I try to convince her she should try it, haha). Today she wanted me to bring an assortment of Valentines and birthday cards to choose from, and a few sympathy cards as well. Between her and the other girls in the office, the entire batch was taken! Plus I came away with an order for thank you cards and a groom's card for a bride-to-be to give her husband. I love my job!
This was one of her favorites out of the selection. She said she's going to give it to one of her Bible Study ladies. That made my heart happy!
STAMP: Non-SU (Inkadinkado)
CARDSTOCK: Whisper White, Real Red, Stacked With Love DSP Stack
INK: Memento Tuxedo Black, Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities (for rhinestones)
ACCESSORIES: Big Shot, Hearts Framelits, Rhinestones Basic Jewels
