Stamp Review Crew - Sale-A-Bration Part 2

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Sale-A-Bration second edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Betty's blog, Kitty Stamp, welcome! There are seven of us today, and Sale-A-Bration is winding down until next year, so be sure to check out all the inspiring projects from the crew!

Yesterday was the "February birthdays" celebration at our house. My daughter's birthday is one week after mine, and my husband's birthday is one week after hers, so we had one big celebration. This week just completely got away from me so I only have one card to share today. I chose the Thanks A Bunch stamp set and challenged myself to use it in a different way.

I thought the large carrot, turned around, looked somewhat like a palm tree trunk, and the large leaf like palm fronds so I made a little scene from them. The grass is the leaf's shadow stamp. And I found the sentiment to be hilariously appropriate!

Did you notice the embossing? That's from the Basics 3D embossing folder set coming next month!

That's all from me, so click "Next" to see what Jay over at Mitosu Crafts created, or "Previous" to visit Betty again. Thanks for stopping by!

The Stamp Review Crew - Sale-A-Bration!

https://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2020/02/SAB.html

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Sale-A-Bration edition! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Linda Callahan's blog, Stampin' Seasons, welcome! There are eleven of us today, and I can't wait to see what everyone chose to highlight!

My choice is something coming in a couple weeks - the Sale-A-Bration Second Release! I really like the Tags in Bloom photopolymer stamp set, and positively adore the new specialty DSP, so that's my share today. This is the stamp set...

Heart's Delight Cards, , SRC- SAB, Tags in Bloom, Stampin' Up!

And here is the first card made with it. The floral tag was stamped in black, with Lovely Lipstick as the filler stamp for the blooms and Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

Soft Sea Foam So Very Vellum is the background, with Pear Pizzazz DSP as the mat behind the image. I did fussy cut the floral tag and single blossom, but the stitched tag was punched with the Label Me Lovely punch. Another bit of Sale-A-Bration product is the So Saffron metallic baker's twine, part of the first SAB offering.

The next card uses a greeting from Tags in Bloom, and both specialty DSPs! The Pool Party vellum is the background on this card, and I must say, this vellum is fabulous - you can't see the adhesive! No more trying to hide glue dots behind embellishments, LOL!

I used sponge daubers to add Bermuda Bay and Mossy Meadow to the Flowering Foils DSP, then fussy cut and popped the blossoms up on dimensionals. The greeting was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die, and some sequins from the Metallic Baker's Twine & Sequins were added to complete the card.

Up next is Kelly Kent at My Papercraft Journey. I can't wait to see what she made!
