A couple of days ago, I got together with my upline to plan some cards for a presentation. (We have so much fun stamping together!) Anyhoo, this is similar to one of the cards we made. I dressed it up a bit with a Chocolate Chip Corduroy Button. You will be seeing a similar card (& much more), WAY more "dressed up" for the Stampin' Addict's Birthday Blog Hop this weekend!

This is a very quick and easy card with a pocket inside to hold a gift card, a bag of tea, or even a little sachet. You can use it for so many occasions!
I came up with the design when I needed some little thank you gifts for the stamp club the last time it was my turn to be the hostess. You can get 2 of these out of one 12" x 12" sheet. (If you click on the template, you should be able to print it out. Your printer will need to be set to "Landscape".)I stamped the image in SU Old Olive Craft ink and heat embossed it with SU Iridescent Ice EP. Then I inked the edges with Old Olive 
Classic ink. I also inked the edges of the DP with Dusty Durango after I'd put the ribbon on. D'oh! The sentiment was stamped with SU Soft Suede Classic ink. I kind of wanted to keep the muted feel of it, so I nixed my original idea of using Chocolate Chip.
Helpful hint: Use Sticky Strip adhesive (aka Terrifically Tacky Tape) on the pocket flaps. Regular Snail adhesive isn't quite strong enough.(Lord, please give me patience....the neighbors are having a pool party with loud, thumping music.)
