Happy Independence Day!

Just a quick post today to wish all my fellow Americans a happy and safe Fourth of July! I feel so blessed to be a citizen of this great nation. Yes, there are some flaws that could be fixed, but I still think this is the best place on earth!

Today's card expresses my gratitude for the men and women who served our country to establish and preserve our freedoms. May we never forget our fight against tyranny and for our independence!

Some now-retired Brights and Neutrals DSP was used here. Too many "stars" and stripes, but I think you get the picture. *smile* The scalloped background for the flowers was made with one of the dies in the Budding Blooms Dies that coordinates with the Bloom & Grow photopolymer stamp set. Lots of fun images to color, along with some nice sentiments!

Fourth of July

I want to wish all of my friends and family a happy and safe Fourth of July! We are going to have to postpone the fireworks since it's a rainy day, but that's okay. The garden is happy! This is the view from my bedroom window (see the deer?).

On this anniversary of the birth of our free nation, let us not forget the reason we declared our independence from tyranny. I pray we never lose sight of that. Happy birthday, America!
