Flirty Flowers THANKS!

Heart's Delight Cards, Flirty Flowers, All Things Thanks, Thank You, Stampin' Up!

In my quest to design a suitable swap for the Stampin' Up! OnStage event next month, I ended up with some "useful bits" on my desk. What better way to use them than a thank you card for a recent customer order!

Heart's Delight Cards, Flirty Flowers, All Things Thanks, Thank You, Stampin' Up!

This card is somewhat similar to what I will be swapping, but there are some major differences, which I will share after OnStage.....don't want to spill the beans before my stamping sisters get a chance to swap with me!

The flower was stamped on Shimmery White so that I could color it with a Blender Pen and ink pads. I think using Flirty Flamingo with the Flirty Flowers was appropriate, don't you?

The Stamp Review Crew - High Tide

https://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2018/03/high-tide.html

Welcome to the latest Stamp Review Crew blog hop! The "Crew" consists of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who love to spark creativity and inspiration in others. Today we are featuring the High Tide stamp set which, I am ashamed to admit, I have only used once just for the birds. Did you arrive here from Nikki's AWESOME blog? If you follow the links, you will see all ten blogs on this tour.

I have two projects to share today. Up first is a reverse-masked card using seven of the stamps in High Tide! Can you spot them all?  One of them (the sun rays) is kind of subtle.

A piece of copy paper was cut with the largest circle die to use as a mask. I placed a sticky note to mask off the sky while I stamped the water, then turned it around and covered the water while I sponged and stamped the sky. It really is such a simple technique, but it looks so cool!

For the next project, I used the circle die again to cut an opening in the Wood Textures DSP. I stamped the water and sandy cliff, then cut some cloud shapes from a sticky note and sponged the cumulus clouds.

The lighthouse was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and fussy cut, then popped up on dimensionals.

That's all I have for this go-round - now hop on over to see what Bronwyn has for you!

Stamp Review Crew - Bella & Friends

A very Happy New Year to y'all from the Stamp Review Crew! Can you believe it's 2018 already?! We're baaa-aack with a special bonus hop!

The Stamp Review Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all across the globe who "gather" on the first and third Monday of each month to highlight a particular stamp set. Today's hop is a bonus! We are showcasing the adorable Bella & Friends stamp set, which was inspired by Million Dollar Achiever, Angie Juda!

Yeah, when you hit that $1,000,000 in sales, you get all kinds of perks, and helping design a new stamp set is one of them. I calculated that at the rate I'm going, I should reach that milestone when I'm about 180 years old. *grin* But I digress....

If you started at the beginning of the hop, and are hopping in order, you just landed here from Kelly Kent's blog. Aren't her projects always aMAZing? If you started here, click the 'next' link to go on to the next stop.

Bella & Friends, Stampin' Up!, Shaker Card

As you can see, the Bella & Friends stamp set is totally adorable, and I thought a shaker card for a child, or a special dog who is like a child (not naming any names here, but you know who you are!) would be cute.

Since there are sequins in the shaker, naturally I had to use the Scattered Sequins Dynamic embossing folder! I added some Wink of Stella to some of the embossed sequins, as well as the frosting on the cupcake. And then fussy-cut those two sweet fluffy pups. I'm thinking a short-haired dog would have been a lot easier!

That's my project to share, so now it's off to Mike Funke's blog, Stampin' Style, to see what he has in store for you! Thanks for stopping by, and I wish every one of you a blessed New Year!
