CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Casing Debbie Henderson

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is to CASE Debbie Henderson. This was my inspiration from her post This past July:

Isn't it gorgeous?! This is my spin on it, using the Autumn Leaves bundle in the new catalog:

I asked Debbie what colors she used so I could be sure to do it right and I had guessed correctly on three out of four. (Nice try, ha.) For the Deckled Rectangle embossed background, the Leaf Fall folder was used to keep with the autumn theme.

A watercolor wash on Fluid 100 paper was made using Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, and Granny Apple Green, then the leaves were die cut when it was dry. (Somehow the Granny Apple faded away.)

The Gray Granite ribbon is retired now, so I substituted some silver 1/8" trim, which also satisfied my need for something shiny. 😉
