Happy New Catalog!

Hello, Stamping Friends! I am so excited that we are "out with the old, and in with the new" catalog. Instead of one big annual catalog with two smaller seasonal ones, Stampin' Up! is moving to three medium catalogs per year, every four months, beginning with the new May-August 2026 that just went live.

I love the new layout! It is so much easier to find what you need with the full index in the back. And if there's something you're looking for that isn't in the catalog, most likely it has moved online, so be sure to check the online store.

One of the items in the new catty is the Opulent Oasis Bundle which includes new Impressions Dies. (You'll need the new Impressions Plate if you want to do the embossing.) It is so cool! First you die cut the design and leave the cardstock in the die*. Then remove the two clear cutting plates and place the die with the cardstock face up on the platform with the Thin Die Adapter. Lay the rubbery Impressions Plate on top and the rigid grey number 4 plate over it (that's the one used with 3D folders), and run it through the machine. The instructions with illustrations are included with the Impressions Plate. It should be noted that SU has teased that there will be more Impressions Dies in upcoming catalogs. I can't wait!

*I really love this Post-It tape (affiliate link) for holding dies in place when cutting things in my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. It can even be reused several times, so a roll lasts a very long time.

For this card, I used the die to emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White without cutting it out. Then I embossed another smaller piece to just get the flower and blended Bubble Bath and Golden Glow on it before fussy cutting it. I also blended Garden Green on some scraps for a lighter shade of green and die cut the leaves. The Garden Green greeting was cut with a Sweet Words & Labels die. There are so many awesome labels in that set! Did you notice the tiny heart cutouts? 💕
