Updated! Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop (first of the year!) theme is our favorite new Jan-Apr bundle OR January Online Exclusive bundle. I do like several bundles from each offering, but I chose an Online Exclusive called Fragrant Layers for today's card.
First, a piece of DSP was embossed with the All in a Row folder and adhered to the card base. Next, the "frame" was cut from Basic White (measurements given below). Then the floral image was stamped and filled with the filler stamps, with the centers of the flowers colored with Peach Pie Stampin' Blends. A light Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blend added the background color around the flowers.
The frame was laid over the image and aligned, then I lightly traced around the outside with a pencil and trimmed just inside the pencil marks to make the image fit behind the frame.
Measurements
- Card base: Basic White 4-1/4" x 11", scored/folded at 5-1/2"
- Frame: Basic White 2-3/4" x 3-3/4"
