The Inky Friends have a new hop today, and we are focusing on Autumn, my favorite time of year! I love crisp, cool nights, and the glorious colors before the leaves fall, so this theme is right up my alley! If you are hopping in order, you probably just landed here from Twila's blog, Stamp A Little Longer, where she featured Gourd Goodness and goodness, weren't her projects great?! If you are just starting here, you can see all the Fall fun by clicking the links at the bottom of each stop along the hop.
Today I am featuring the Count My Blessings stamp set, which is available in wood- or clear-mount options. I think it has gotten overlooked in the catalog because there are so many other wonderful goodies, but it is definitely worth a second look!
I loved that there were little leaves to match the leafy branch! It made it easy to add fallen leaves (which is already happening here!) at the bottom of the card. I added faux stitching around the label with an Early Espresso marker, and some linen thread and the wooden embellishments in the Touches of Nature Elements added an earthy feel.
The second card was paired with some Painted Autumn DSP. I think the bit of green in the background makes the image pop, don't you?
The image was stamped several times on the right side of the card in Sahara Sand (stamped off). I wanted just the barest hint of pattern behind the greeting.
I hope you take a closer look at Count My Blessings. Besides the beautiful script greetings, there are some fun, whimsical elements! All of the products used here are listed below. Up next is Sarah, over at Sarah's Ink Spot. She's going to pique your interest with Pick a Pumpkin!
