CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Mini Celebration

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is Mini Celebration - using our favorite bundle from the new mini. It was hard for me to choose, because I have two favorites; Enduring Beauty and Thoughtful Expressions. I ended up picking the latter because I've used Enduring Beauty a lot already. And besides...Thoughtful Expressions has those awesome label dies to go with the image dies!

The Soft Sea Foam background panel was embossed with the polka dots and adhered to the card base. I used the second largest scalloped label die to cut the DSP and the smallest label die for the greeting (stamped on matching DSP).

After stamping and coloring the hummingbird and flowers, they were die cut and adhered with dimensionals.

Thursday Challenge - CCMC801

This week's Thursday challenge is a sketch, and a perfect opportunity to show off some Perennial Lavender DSP!

After adhering the Distressed Tile background, I added three 3/4" x 3 1/2" strips  of Highland Heather.

I used the second largest Perennial Postage die, and made it a little narrower by running it through the SCEM (Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine) with the die moved over to cut off what I didn't need.

It was adhered to the card base and the heat embossed Gorgeous Grape greeting was popped up on dimensionals on top. Brushed Brass Butterflies added the final touch.

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Paper Perfection

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Hop theme is all about our gorgeous Designer Series Papers. There are so many beautiful papers in the new mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure that it was hard for me to choose! Ultimately I settled on the Most Adored Specialty DSP in the Sale-A-Bration brochure since Valentine's Day is right around the corner and, well... shiny! It has gold foil patterns on one side that I couldn't resist!

One I decided which patterns to use, the card really came together quickly. The tiny gold heart background is 4" x 5 1/4" and the gold checked pattern is 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" with a Real Red 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" mat behind.

The hearts (Adoring Hearts Dies) were cut from the red plaid pattern that's the flip side of a splendid gold marbled pattern. *chef's kiss*
